RECIPE: Mini Sugar-Free Protein Cake
A sweet treat with cake-like consistency, full of healthy fats, antioxidants, protein, vitamins & minerals and fibre! What's not to like?!
Ingredients
- ½ cup GF oat flour (blended oats)
- 1 tsp baking powder & sea salt
- Drop of natural sweetener
- ⅓ cup plant-based yoghurt
Filling:
- ⅓ cup plant-based yoghurt
- 1 scoop Daily Essential Formula
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Add all ingredients to a non-toxic oven proof bowl
- Combine all ingredients in bowl, place the dark chocolate in the centre and cover it.
- Add mixture to a non-toxic soufflé dish/cup and bake until cooked (approx 20 min).
- Slice the mini cake in half.
- Mix DEF with yoghurt and add on top (add splash of plant-based milk if needed).
