RECIPE: Mini Sugar-Free Protein Cake

A sweet treat with cake-like consistency, full of healthy fats, antioxidants, protein, vitamins & minerals and fibre! What's not to like?! 

 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup GF oat flour (blended oats)
  • 1 tsp baking powder & sea salt
  • Drop of natural sweetener
  • ⅓ cup plant-based yoghurt

 

Filling:

 

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180°C
  • Add all ingredients to a non-toxic oven proof bowl
  • Combine all ingredients in bowl, place the dark chocolate in the centre and cover it.
  • Add mixture to a non-toxic soufflé dish/cup and bake until cooked (approx 20 min).
  • Slice the mini cake in half.
  • Mix DEF with yoghurt and add on top (add splash of plant-based milk if needed).
