I'm vegan, are your recipes suitable for me?

Yes! The majority of recipes are 100% plant-based.

Can I share my account with a friend?

No, sorry! Our policy is strictly one user per account. You can only log in to 3 different devices with the same log in credentials, and we check IP addresses to make sure only one user uses the account. Failure to comply to the rules of one user per account will unfortunately get you banned from using our services.

Can I cancel the membership anytime?

When will I be charged?

Payment for the subscription plan chosen will be taken after the 7 day free trial if you don't cancel beforehand. How do I cancel my subscription? You can manage or cancel your subscription by going to the "Billing" section located under "My Account". Will I receive a refund if I cancel after the 7 Day Free Trial? No. Since your subscription plan is pre-paid, you will keep your service until the billing period ends and your subscription plan expires.

What happens when I cancel?

You will continue to have access to the product(s) and features on your subscription plan until it expires at the end of your billing period.

Are the recipes, guided meditations and educational videos included when working with a Practitioner in the Private Practice?

No. The recipes, workouts and guided meditations in the membership programme Synergised Nutrition are separate to Private Practice. You must therefore subscribe to this separately if you want access to these videos.

One of our Integrative Health Practitioners will provide you with a wellness blueprint for the entire process, including a prenatal, perinatal and/or postnatal wellness plan, which will include a selection of the following:

How Do You Pay In Instalments?

You can either pay the cost of £897 upfront or you can purchase this programme in 3 payments of £299.

Do I need to be based in the UK to work with a Synergised Practitioner?

No! You will have access to functional lab testing and supplements regardless of where you are located.

How much are functional medicine lab tests?

It really depends on what lab(s) Paula recommends. However, she will always keep your budget in mind and so will list them in order of priority. So if you can only afford one, she will advise on what the best lab will be for you. If you want to find out more about prices, please visit this page.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

No. The reason being is you need to be in the right headspace before starting this transformative process. If you are already looking for money-back guarantees then you are not preparing yourself for success. We want motivated self-starters who can follow instructions and are not looking for a way out before they even begin. If you’re not serious, don’t commit. But if you are, get ready for an entire body, mind & soul transformation!

Do you offer in-person appointments?

Synergised is a completely online platform, allowing us to help as many people as we can from all over the world. If you have any further questions about how the process works, please email support@synergised.uk.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally to most countries. You may have to pay import taxes and/or customs duties. These charges are separate from your shipping charges and the rates vary from country to country and also depend upon the products being ordered. Synergised has no control over these charges.

How long will it take the goods to arrive in the UK?

All our domestic orders are shipped by Royal Mail 48 hour service. This means orders placed by 2pm on a working day will be received within 48 working hours. Orders placed on a non-working day are shipped the next working day to be received 48h working hours later.

How long will it take the goods to arrive outside the UK?

Synergised offers a flat rate standard shipping option to all International customers. We use DPD for all of our parcels shipped overseas. Standard delivery ranges between 6-25 Days (depending on location). Prices will also vary dependingon location.

What is the refund policy?

If you’d like to return your order for a refund, the unopened product must be received within 14 days of receipt. Contact support@synergised.uk for details on how to return. Please also see our Return Policy here.

Can I change/cancel my order?

This is generally not possible as it is often too late to change/cancel an order because everything is picked almost immediately.

What is the Daily Essential Formula?

It is an all-in-one powder that contains hypoallergenic organic pea protein with well-absorbed, active forms of vitamins, minerals & botanicals to fill the nutritional gaps in your diet and support optimal health.

What are the Daily Essential Formula directions for use?

Mix 2 scoops (35g) with 300ml of water, non-dairy milk or your favourite beverage. Consume 1 shake per day. Do not exceed the recommended stated daily intake.

Are there any quality control procedures for the Daily Essential Formula?

All raw materials are tested for heavy metals and harmful microorganisms prior to entering the manufacturer. Once blended, the product is sent to a third party laboratory to once again confirm that it does not contain contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, or other toxins. Lastly, before being released for sale, finished products are tested to confirm the identity and potency of the ingredients to ensure that it meets the label claims. That is exactly why you can trust that the Daily Essential Formula is 100% safe for you and your family.

Are solvents used in the extraction process of the pea protein?

No, the production process of our pea protein does not involve any solvents being used other than water.

Does the Daily Essential Formula contain any artificial sweetener?

No, it is naturally sweetened with stevia leaf extract.

Does the Daily Essential Formula contain added sugar?

No! We use stevia leaf to provide natural sweetness without the need for added sugar.

Is the Daily Essential Formula tested for heavy metals?

Yes! All of our products are third party tested for heavy metals and we can confirm that the test results show that all of our products are far below the minimum safety standard set by both the EU and FDA authorities.

Why is there salt in the Daily Essential Formula?

All of the salt used in our products is in the form of sea salt and not table salt, which is very beneficial for the adrenals and also assists in the absorption of other minerals such as magnesium and potassium.

Is there fibre in the Daily Essential Formula?

Yes, there’s almost two grams of fibre coming from psyllium husk which is a naturally occurring, plant-derived source of fibre.

Is the Daily Essential Formula easy to digest?

The Daily Essential Formula is very easy to digest. Pea protein itself is gentle on the stomach and doesn’t cause the digestive discomfort often associated with whey- or casein-based protein powders. There are no fillers, preservatives or processing aids present in the Daily Essential Formula which is often found in various other vegan protein powders in the market associated with digestive discomfort.

Why is rice protein not used in the Daily Essential Formula?

After running hundreds of comprehensive food sensitivity tests with clients in Private Practice, Paula realised that rice was often elevated as a sensitivity from an igG perspective. This means that the consumption of rice would cause inflammation on certain individuals and lead to a host of symptoms. She specifically designed the Daily Essential Formula to be an anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic nutritional supplement and this is why she chose to not include rice protein as an ingredient. She instead carefully selected a form of pea protein that is organic and water extracted with all nine essential amino acids.

I experienced bloating after drinking the shake, how can I fix this?

If you experienced bloating, I recommend reducing your dosage and starting with half a scoop only. As your digestion becomes stronger, you will be better able to digest the fibre and increase it to two scoops. Drinking the shake with no more than 300ml of water will also help. Lastly, it is also advised to sip on it slowly over the course of 60-90 min. You should be able to add more ingredients and make a Daily Essential Formula smoothie as your gut health is optimised.

Is the natural flavouring produced in the UK and does it contain any GMO sources?

The natural flavourings in the Daily Essential Formula are non-GMO and are produced in the UK.

Is the stevia used combined with any other ingredients such as erythritol or other sweeteners?

No, it is pure stevia extract free of any inflammatory ingredients including artificial sweeteners.

Is the Daily Essential Formula safe for children?

Yes and we recommend adjusting the serving size accordingly since the standard doses are based on a 150Ib individual. However, as with any nutritional supplement for children, please check with your child's medical doctor prior to starting any new product.

I find the DEF too sweet/not sweet enough, what can I do?

When it comes to taste, it really is very personal so it’s difficult to satisfy everyone’s palate but we try our best! If it’s not sweet enough for you, try adding some sweetness from either natural sugars such as maple syrup or natural stevia if you’d like to keep it sugar-free! If you’re having it in a smoothie, try adding more sweet fruits such as bananas or mangoes. However, if it’s too sweet for you, we recommend adding less powder and more liquid. If blended in a smoothie, opt for low sugar fruits such as berries. Adding bitter ingredients such as cacao powder, matcha powder and cacao nibs also bring the sweetness down :)

Why does the DEF turn a little orange after blending it?

That is because we use the natural form of vitamin A (beta carotene) which has a bright orange colour. You can be rest assured that the orange stuff is loaded with antioxidants!

Why does the DEF taste slightly different to last time?

This can happen because due to the nature of the ingredients. Remember, all the good stuff that goes into the product is natural, which means that it can vary slightly from season to season and crop to crop. Using artificial ingredients is a big NO for us so we’re willing to allow for some natural discrepancies in flavouring :)

I'm vegan, can I still do the 21 Day Reset?

Yes, the 21 Day Reset is vegan-friendly.

I don't want to lose weight, can I still do the 21 Day Reset?

Absolutely! There is no calorie restriction in the 21 Day Reset. The magazine offers serving suggestions and instructs you on how to tailor your meals to meet your specific health goal.

Can I do the 21 Day Reset if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

I don't recommend it.

Is there anyone that the 21 Day Reset isn't suitable for?

It's only 21 days. Think about how you will feel when people notice that you look brighter, lighter, more energised and glowing after the 21 days are up! What is the difference between the 3 Month Programme and Lab Testing Consultations?

When you order a lab, you receive a 30 minute consultation to explain your results and provide you with advice and recommendations, based on your symptoms and lab results. With lab test consultations, we are not able to respond back to email follow up questions after your consultation as that is only available in the 3 Month Programme. However, if you have other health concerns, we'd be happy to schedule another consultation to discuss them in more detail.The 3 Month Programme however, was designed for individuals that need a full health intake and one-to-one ongoing support and accountability. It includes a series of three consultations with a Synergised practitioner, to help guide you through the implementation of your protocols. Under this programme, you have access to your health coach for follow-up questions, accountability and general support anytime. You will also meet with them once a month to go over your protocols, wellness plan, etc.

How are customers' data handled?

Synergised does not sell clients data. Once a sample is run, the lab will have it destroyed, and it is not used for any other purpose.

Does the 30 minute lab test consultation include nutrition advice?

Yes, all recommendations sent to you after your consultation will include nutrition advice.

How do Lab Tests work?

Very simple! Once you place your order, you will receive the lab test kit within approximately 48h. Simply follow the instructions provided and pop your sample back in the prepaid return label we sent you and arrange for a collection. It takes approximately 3-4 weeks to process your results and as soon as we have these, we'll send you an invite to chat with one of our expert integrative health practitioners. This invite will also contain a health intake form that we kindly ask you to fill in as thoroughly as possible. Once you book the appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom details for your video consultation. On the day of your meeting, they'll walk you through your results and you’ll leave the call with actionable steps that are easy to follow and tailored to your specific results.

Do I need to fill a health intake form prior to my lab test consultation?

Yes. Once your results are ready, you will receive an email to book your consultation and fill in your health intake form.

How will I receive my results and consultation to review the results?

Once your sample is received, it takes approximately 3-4 weeks to receive your results. As soon as we receive your results, one of our integrative health practitioners will send you an email with instructions on where to find the results as well as our appointment schedule so you can book your appointment. Once this is booked, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom details for your video consultation. On the day of your consultation, the results will be explained to you and your practitioner will send you the recommendations based within 48h,

When should I take my sample?

We recommend taking the sample on a normal “stressful” weekday. For ovulating women, please run this test on days 19-21 of your cycle (day 1 is the first day of menstruation). If your cycles are irregular, please collect when not bleeding (or 5 days before expected period). For men or women with no cycles, please collect at any day of the month.

When should I ship my sample?

If sample(s) will not be sent the day of collection, please store in the freezer and note dates in Section 5 of the Test Requisition. DRIED BLOOD SPOT samples should be kept at room temperature. Please hold the sample in the freezer if the next day is not a working day.

What should I avoid prior to collecting the saliva samples?

Please do not eat, drink (except water), or brush teeth at least 2 h prior to collections. The night before collection, wash your face before bedtime. Do not apply lotions or creams.

Can I run this test if on HRT or other hormonal medications?

Yes

How can I ensure I get my blood flowing to make the blood pricking process easier and quicker?

Make sure to drink plenty of water a few hours leading to collection and place your hands under warm water for a few minutes to allow for your blood to flow through your body more easily.

Are there any other recommendations to maximise the accuracy of my results?

Our top tip is that doing epsom salt baths, massages and/or saunas the week leading up to testing will enhance accuracy of results as these practices help with toxin excretion and thus make them more likely to show up in the urine. It’s also recommended to increase your protein intake prior to testing if possible.

Is my sample valid if the urine was too dilute?

Urine should be yellow in colour. We recommend stopping all liquids before 6pm to ensure the urine is concentrated.

Can I collect the sample while menstruating?

No, please wait until your menstruation is over.

Do I need to avoid any foods or supplements prior to collection?

Yes, please avoid apples and apple juice, grapes (including raisins) and grape juice, pears and pear juice, cranberries and cranberry juice, arabinogalactan, echinacea, reishi mushrooms and ribose supplements.

When should I collect my urine sample?

Please collect the first urine sample upon waking. Do not eat or drink prior to collecting your sample. If you wake up to urinate during the night, please do not collect your sample and wait until the following morning.

What should I do prior to my blood spot sample collection?

Please wash your hands under warm water for a few minutes. Dry your hands then cleanse the outer edges of your middle and ring finger with the alcohol wipe provided and let it air dry.

Do I need to avoid anything prior to taking this sample?

No, you can continue eating and taking supplements as normal.

What should I do prior to collection?

Please ensure that you have clean, dry hair. If your hair has been dyed or chemically treated, please wait at least 6 weeks before taking your sample. Please take the sample from hair closest to the head as it will otherwise not be accurate.

How can I avoid noticeable patches after taking the sample?

We recommend taking the hair sample from the neck in several small selections to avoid noticeable patches.

When should I retest?

It takes a number of months for changes in the body to be reflected in the hair so waiting at least 8 months is recommended.

What do I need to do prior to taking the sample?

Although not necessary, for maximum accuracy we generally recommend adding in all foods that you’d like to test beforehand and consuming each of those foods 1-2 times minimum for 2-3 days before testing.

How can I ensure I get my blood flowing to make the blood pricking process easier and quicker?

Make sure to drink plenty of water a few hours leading to collection and place your hands under warm water for a few minutes to allow for your blood to flow through your body more easily.

Can I take this test if I am on immune suppressants?

It’s not recommended given that this test looks for an IgG reaction.

When should I take my sample?

We recommend taking the sample on a normal “stressful” weekday. For ovulating woman, please run this test on days 19-21 of your cycle (day 1 is the first day of menstruation). If your cycles are irregular, please collect when not bleeding (or 5 days before expected period). For men or women with no cycles, please collect at any day of the month.

When should I ship my sample?

Ship Monday - Thursday only. If the next day is a bank holiday, please keep the specimen in the freezer until the following business day to ship.

What should I avoid on the day of collection?

Please do not: Take any supplements until after you have collected all four samples. Consume food or drinks that contain caffeine. Eat or drink anything before your first saliva collection (up to 8 oz of water is OK). Avoid eating one hour prior to each saliva collection. Brush, floss, or have dental work done 30 minutes prior to each saliva collection. Wash hands and rinse mouth with water, but wait 10 minutes to collect your saliva sample (to avoid dilution).

Can I run this test if on HRT or other hormonal medications?

What should I do the night before collection?

The night before collection, wash your face before bedtime. Do not apply lotions or creams.

What should I avoid prior to collecting the samples?

Please read all of the instructions carefully before beginning. Consult your doctor for specific instructions and before stopping any medications.

For two weeks prior to collecting the samples, please discontinue:

Antibiotics, antiparasitics, antifungals, or probiotic supplements, proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) and Bismuth two weeks prior to taking the samples.

Aspirin and other NSAIDs, digestive enzymes, laxatives (particularly mineral oil and castor oil), activated charcoal, betaine HCl, antacids or bentonite clay.

How do I ship my samples?

Please follow the shipping instructions form contained within this test collection kit, which will tell you how to send back your test collection kit. Unless advised otherwise, please return your test collection kit to Regenerus Laboratories in the U.K. www.regeneruslabs.com. Please ship as soon as possible. If you cannot ship the specimen on the day of collection, store the White top vial in the freezer and the other vials in the refrigerator until ready to ship.
